Co-founder and Managing Director
Tehsin brings over 20 years of experience in environmental management and industrial hygiene, supporting a wide range of public and private-sector clients. She leads project teams handling indoor air quality, asbestos, lead-based paint, hazardous materials, radon, and drinking water—delivering thorough assessments and practical solutions to protect occupant health and ensure regulatory compliance.
As an industrial hygienist, Tehsin has extensive experience in hazardous materials surveys, abatement design and specification development, and construction-phase oversight and monitoring. She is highly skilled in exposure assessments and indoor air quality evaluations, helping clients identify risks, implement effective controls, and maintain safe, compliant environments.
In Tehsin’s free time, she can be found gardening, cooking, and traveling.
Program Manager - Environmental Compliance and Management
Emily Dyson – Emily has over 30 years of experience in environmental consulting and program management, supporting federal, state, and local agencies as well as a diverse range of industrial clients and developers. She has led projects in 45 states and on six continents, bringing a broad and adaptable perspective to complex environmental challenges.
Her experience includes environmental compliance strategy and auditing, environmental program and Environmental Management System (EMS) development and implementation, site remediation and mitigation design, and multi-media environmental permitting for large-scale projects. Ms. Dyson has a proven track record of helping organizations navigate regulatory requirements, manage environmental risk, and implement effective, long-term solutions.
Emily enjoys disk golf, kayaking, and being in the great outdoors with her family.
Certified Industrial Hygienist
Josh is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Safety Professional with over 15 years of experience leading complex industrial hygiene and occupational safety initiatives. Recognized as an industry expert, he is frequently retained by the legal community as an expert witness, providing technical analysis and defensible opinions on matters involving exposure, indoor air quality, hazardous materials, and workplace safety.
He specializes in exposure assessment, indoor air quality studies, mold and microbial investigations, and hazardous materials evaluation, including asbestos-containing materials and lead-based paint. With extensive experience in abatement design, remediation oversight, and construction-phase monitoring, Josh delivers solutions that protect people, ensure compliance, and withstand regulatory scrutiny, litigation, and real-world conditions.
Josh’s interests include dog-walking, finding asbestos and mold that other people missed, and cheese.
Co-founder and Principal
Kamau brings over 25 years of experience leading complex industrial hygiene and environmental health projects. A recognized leader in the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) community, he is actively engaged in state-level working groups advancing industrial hygiene practices and policy. Known for his strategic mindset and hands-on leadership, Kamau consistently delivers innovative solutions to some of the most challenging environmental, health, and safety issues facing clients today.
His expertise spans asbestos and lead-based paint inspections, management planning, abatement design, and construction oversight, as well as infection control, emergency response, and expert testimony. Kamau is particularly valued for his ability to navigate high-risk, high-visibility projects—bringing technical depth, practical problem-solving, and a commitment to protecting people and the environment.

EHC is proud to have been selected by the NHP Foundation, a non-profit real estate organization, to complete the required ASTM Phase I/II and the HUD Part 50 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessment for the redevelopment of a property in Central Park Heights, Baltimore City, Maryland.
EHC team provided industrial hygiene services for asbestos, lead based paint and polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB). EHC’s team was involved with testing building materials, awareness training for PCB, reviewing and approving abatement work plans and providing abatement oversight and monitoring.
